Ali Sahil Hand Industries a String Making and Carpet Weave Company commenced its activities in 2001 and registered with AISA (Afghanistan Investment Support Agency) in 2009. The business started with an initial investment of 8,500 USD. Currently, the company employs 850 skilled laborers and operates in seven districts of Nangarhar Province. Raw material wool is sourced from local people in Nangarhar province. After processing and transforming it into wool strings, a small portion is used in the carpet weaving section, while the majority is supplied to the market.
the company distributes its wool string products to the Nangarhar market and other provinces of Afghanistan.
In 2023, the business produced 18,000 KGs of wool strings and 960 SQM of various types of carpets.

Ali Sahil Hand Industries, founded in 2001 and registered with AISA in 2009, specializes in string making and carpet weaving. With an initial investment of $8,500, the company now employs 850 workers in Nangarhar Province. It processes locally sourced wool into strings, most of which are sold in the market, while a portion is used for carpets. In 2023, it produced 18,000 kg of wool strings and 960 sqm of carpets. For 2024, the company plans to increase production and create 250 new jobs for women, with orders already in place for 40,000 kg of wool strings and 3,000 sqm of carpets.
